This was pretty much a dream project. We were called upon by our friends at Branch Technology to provide the steel armatures for a permanent installation at Chicago’s Field Museum. Titled the Nature Gardens, four plant covered sculptures were suspended from the ceiling as cloud shaped hanging gardens. The installation was designed by Daniel Pouzet and Branch with engineering services provided by Thornton Tomasetti.
Steel structures support Branch’s 3D printed plastic matrices and nested growing trays. The trays support thousands of live plants sustained with integrated hydroponic systems.
We provided fabrication services including laser cut steel, welding, powder coating, shop drawings and consultation.

Answer is a restaurant in the Sylvan Park neighborhood of Nashville and is the vision of restauranteurs Victoria Rothberg and chef Chris Raucci. Working in collaboration with Roy, a San Francisco based hospitality design studio, Range Projects was hired as a turnkey solution for all of the custom seating and fixtures in the space.
The bar and table tops are light stained, solid ash. The seating was made of solid and veneered ash with upholstered leather cushions. The backs of the curved banquettes were finished with a bold patterned wallpaper. The bar and dining room were separated with a steel and reeded glass partition. We furnished the walls with custom mirrors and a custom boom sconce light fixture. The bar was crowned with a floating curtain made of gold painted, perforated aluminum and lit with integrated LED lighting.

The prompt was "mid century modern meets Miami". The result is truly something one of a kind.
Working with Seija Ojanpera, owner and visionary of The Dwell Hotel in collaboration with Tinker Ma, we designed and built the retro-modern banquettes and brass framed plant walls throughout the restaurant. Mid-century notes of walnut, colorful Naugahyde and velvet, and brass tipped spindle legs set the tone. The elegant, polished brass plant walls soften the hotel's Civil War-era stone walls. We kept them green with minimal maintenance using hidden, timed, water circulation systems.
We were later called upon to help facilitate a rebrand of the restaurant from Terra Mae to the Solarium. We built a back lit glass and stone bar, walnut and brass casework and shelving, and clad some walls with lush, green, astroturf.

We were thrilled to design, build and deliver a new trade show booth for Anderson Tuftex. It debuted at the Surfaces Event in Las Vegas. They sought a unique booth that reflected the timelessness and quality inherent to their brand. The result was a booth that suggested residential space and provided a tailored retail experience.
We designed and built a folded bleacher structure to be both a showpiece for their floor coverings as well as a comfortable place for guests to sit and converse. At the top of the structure guests experienced a custom sculpture by artist Natalie Dunham as well as floor mounted video displays built in collaboration with Juncture.
Perimeter walls were composed of modular wooden panels and lightweight storefront windows. These were capped with an aluminum ceiling grid that created an interior feel and provided structure for custom lighting.
Our work also included custom product displays, Point of Sale displays and furniture.
Additionally, we provided logistics and onsite management services to ensure the booth looked great and was ready on time We coordinated shipping to and from the event and oversaw venue appointed labor for installation and deinstallation. We ensured our client had an incredible show experience.
