Lindley Church Residence

Elements: Walnut Face Frame Cabinetry, Stainless Steel Countertops, Custom Dining Table, Entry Doors From Site Salvaged Lumber

Type of Space: Residence

Designer: Client and Range Projects

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Year: 2015

Photography: Reed McCoy

Chef Daniel Lindley built his dream home, in an abandoned church a few blocks from his flagship restaurant. Not surprisingly, the kitchen is center stage.

We collaborated with him to create custom Shaker-style pieces. Walnut face-frame cabinetry with inset doors, dovetail drawers with undermount slides, integrated appliances, topped with stainless steel countertops—all perfectly installed, despite being on one of the most sloped floors we’ve ever seen.
